Who's in Control? // Joanna Kimbrel
“The more that we draw near to him, the more that we depend on him, the more that we ask him for our daily bread, we begin to see his character and realize, ‘Oh my goodness, it is so much better to have him in control than me! Because surely I will mess it up, but he won’t.’” — Joanna Kimbrel

When it comes to control, we often feel either like we have it all under control or like everything is spinning out of control—and sometimes both in the same day. Our verse this month tells us that neither of those feelings are actually true. Jesus is the one who is in control. On today's episode, Joanna Kimbrel shares just how easy it is for us to live under the illusion of our own control and also shares specific times when she felt like everything was out of control in her own life. Joanna tells us why we would want to give Jesus the reins of our lives and she gives us practical advice for how we can make that happen.
