Tunnel vision. Not a thing we want to be true of our outlook. The phrase brings to mind an inability to see the greater whole, to be in-the-dark, unable to make well-informed decisions. So, if the big-picture of life includes eternity and an eternal God, shouldn’t that matter? Shouldn’t we constantly be considering what’s going on outside of the tunnel? So often we don’t though. I know I don’t. But, if God is real, we should “fix our eyes” on him. We should daily center our lives around him, letting all of the rest fall into place.
