God’s word ends with an intimate glimpse not only of heaven but into the very heart of God himself. It says, “God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” What a compassionate picture of God personally wiping every tear from our eyes. Even now, God longs to wipe our tears and make right the wrongs we experience.
