Middle School. I tremble to think of it. Do you remember your first day? There are times in life that no one can really prepare you for. And for me, this was one of those times - awkward, embarrassing, changeful. And, as my oldest daughter embarks on day one, my heart and these verses go with her.

“Be on the ready dear one. Stand firm in your young faith. Be strong and courageous, knowing your loving God walks with you. And, shine his love to all you meet. Because this is hard, not just for you. Be a friend to the friendless. Sit with the new girl. Stand up for the outsider. Learn to live out your faith as you grow in the courage and strength that comes from the Author of your story.”
