Our souls rightly long for more.
LET US NOT BECOME WEARY IN DOING GOOD, FOR AT THE PROPER TIME WE WILL REAP A HARVEST IF WE DO NOT GIVE UP.
GALATIANS 6:9
“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” - C.S. Lewis
We long for a place—
Where creativity abounds,
And nimble hands shape dreams,
Making waking wonders,
Yet unthought,
Once unimaginable,
Too wonderful for wondering.
We long for a place—
Where talent parts with insecurity,
And diversity meets unity,
Where varied efforts weigh equally,
Each part unique, necessary,
Fitting together perfectly,
Creating lasting beauty.
We long for a place—
A place where work is joy,
And joy overflows,
Feeding heart, mind, and soul,
Extending, abounding,
For all people,
For all time.
We long for a place—
A place we were made for,
Without thorns or thistles,
Thieves or rust,
Our heart is there,
Where our Treasure is,
Where we belong.
