Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19
The theme of renewal permeates all of God’s story. When it comes to God’s people, renewal is in fact what God is all about. He consistently mends the irreparable, reverses the irreversible, and overcomes the impossible. If this is really and truly true, it should change EVERYTHING! It should change how we see our own irreparable, irreversible, impossible situations and experiences. He has promised to make a way for us in our wastelands. Let’s trust him to do just that.
What are your irreparable, irreversible or impossible situations or experiences? How can you trust God to make a way for you through them?
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
