“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.” — 1 John 3:16
Ever since Dwell Differently began, our heartbeat has been to help you (our people) not just memorize Scripture, but really understand it—helping you see how each verse fits into God’s bigger story and into the story of your own life. That’s why we send weekly emails and host a weekly podcast. Over the years, we’ve wanted to give you more—something more tangible, more interactive, more robust. Well, we finally did the thing! We created a beautiful 12 session digital Bible study.
Our Digital Bible study has everything you need to help you really get God’s words down deep in your soul, including: prayer prompts, interactive questions, devotional content, further study, and methods to help you memorize! AND here’s the best part: this month, we want to give it to you for FREE! Check it out by clicking on the image below.
Not sure if it's for you? Here's an excerpt:
-
- Confess any sin, and ask Jesus for forgiveness. Ask him to draw you close as you receive his forgiveness and love.
-
- Confess your shame, and ask Jesus to free you. Shame is a tool of the enemy that keeps us from walking in the freedom of forgiveness. If you’ve already been forgiven, there’s no more shame! Ask Jesus to help you walk in freedom. Romans 10:11 says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame."
- Confess your hurts and ask Jesus for healing. Sometimes our hurts and suffering make us question God’s love or wonder if we are being punished. Remind yourself that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Jesus can relate to your hurts. He was a man of sorrows, and he walks with his friends through every difficult season. Ask him to draw you near.

Jesus gave up his life to give you his love. If he loves you that much, don’t you think he would want you to experience his love? Pray and ask Jesus to help you begin to understand, believe in, and receive his love today.
